Purchased in 2023 for $52 so decent deal. Definitely gets loud and worth the money at this price but a max volume you are going to get some distortion unless you have a separate EQ app which levels out the distortion.

I have a slightly different version than this and I love it. Originally bought it to use as a portable speaker for outdoor movies and ended up using it all the time for music. My biggest complaints are charge time and EQ. It takes FOREVER to charge to 100%, but once charged battery life is great. As for EQ, there's a button on top that switches between to modes: high pass and low pass. Basically you either get a lot of bass with not a lot of highs cutting through or no bass, all treble. There's no in-between so you either live with it or tweak using EQ apps or functions in the apps. I mostly live with it and it's fine.

Very good bluetooth speaker with nice sound quality. Bass, highs, and treble feel pretty balanced. Not muffled from my experience. Good in both indoor and outdoor.
