I'm in the middle of returning this. The return process is a royal PITA by itself. The bike is not good as a bike - you can't realistically use pedals (too high/close to the seat), the seat is super uncomfortable, the bike is too small for an adult and too heavy for a child.

I don't have this exact model. There are rebrands of this bike all over the place. I have the very similar looking seat only (no pedals) scooter version. Wheels, handlebars, seat, accessories, light, are all identical. Mine advertised a 500w motor with 750 peak wattage and 48v 15ah battery for just over $200. So I'm guessing the motors are the same as well.
So assuming they are the same, this would be fine as a little commuter bike. But you must factor in your size and weight. I'm 180 and sometimes ride with my 7 year old daughter on the little back seat. It pulls the two of us fine at close to 20mph on a flat surface. Battery seems to last a very long time. Ride is comfortable enough. It definitely suffers going up hills. Pulls me at about 8-9 mph by myself. More 6-8 with my daughter. Still lots of fun to ride. We have a blast on it. This one having pedals would help a lot on the hills.
But if you're looking for a considerably better riding experience and still want to keep it cheap. The Urlife E20 is a huge upgrade for a little over $100 more. But if you really want something small and light this one might not be too bad...

Do you really need a compact folding model?
The price is very attractive, but there are compromises abound when comparing to non-folding models. Just wheel size alone, bigger wheels make bumps smaller.

Grabbed the 15ah version for 216. Specs on this are fully legal anywhere here in New Hampshire, and I've been getting some heat for my scooter. Will report back once it's in

Thinking of buying it, but no real experience with Aliexpress. Are they legit and their return policy is reasonable? Also, I read through the product description and can't seem to find how much this thing weighs. Thinking my use-case would be to fold this thing and put it in the trunk of my car. Anyone know how much this thing weighs?

And no, I didn't use AI to post this

That cable lock will get cut and your ride stolen in California. If you get this ebike airtag it and get a heavy duty chain lock.

How about a small (5'2") adult? Or is it any adult?

FKUC. I already ordered the 500W similar bike for $150 few days ago. FKUC. This one seems much nicer.

it's a foldable tiny ebike. why would you not put it in a bag with wheels and take it with you?

But hey, at least maybe it'll catch fire and that should improve the looks.

A good cable lock will be almost the same price as this bike. 😃

If the thief is determined, you will lose the lock and the bike at the same time. For a lock so precious, you need another lock to secure the $130 lock.

This is accurate. It's not dimensioned correctly to pedal unless you are very short. More like a scooter with legal pedals.
