I almost built nearly this exact configuration for my daughter as I had a bunch of spare parts (6500XT, 16GB DDR4, SSD, etc.) sitting unused. Ended up getting a used micro PC as I doubt she will use it for more than homwork/casual gaming.
Equivalent build comes out to $664.87:

Obviously could be cheaper getting some components off of eBay/Alibaba. But this does come preassembled.
So SlickDeal in this environment where RAM and GPU prices are insane.

This is only appropriate for the most casual of gaming. The RX 6500 XT only has 4GB of VRAM which is completely insufficient for any modern gaming. Additionally, the ryzen 5 5500 will only allow the GPU to run at PCIe 3.0 speed. The GPU is capable of 4.0, but being reduced to 3.0 and the card only using 4X of the 16x PCIe lanes is going to further cripple the performance. I would also recommend finding something used on your local FB Marketplace. You can get a much better system for this kind of money.
