There's only about a 60% chance you'll receive an old Fermi card BIOS flashed to fake a 3050.
FWIW, I'd bet there is a 0.01% you'd get a fake 3050....but probably one that didn't pass QC.

I still stand behind the "I'd bet there is a 0.01% you'd get a fake 3050....but probably one that didn't pass QC." (Which is still bad and I never suggested otherwise). Other far more common possibilities (vs an entirely counterfeit 3050 manufacturing ring). Card salvaged from unsold prebuilt PC's or perhaps pulled off of used lease machines. *Not saying one is better or worse than the other, but very different than the massive assumption you are choosing to believe without any evidence. Not to mention counterfeiting something as a complex as a GPU (a 2 gen old model at that...) is likely not worth the effort when any of the other method available are infinitely easier, quicker, cheaper, and does not lead to almost 100% of customers instantly demanding their $ back.
And yes, returns are a hassle on AliExpress and I never disputed that. Just the fact you are more commonly going to run into quality, shipping, or not as described condition issues, vs full blown counterfeits (unless you are shopping luxury clothing, jewelry, watch etc brands). If you did a little research, you'd know that
