We use this on our road trip this spring. It worked out great. We didn't end up using all 3000 W but we did plug a power strip into it and we were able to make coffee in the morning. Keep our refrigerator, cold, and had all the power needs met.

We did have to rewire our camper van battery set up to 24 V but that wasn't too difficult.

We actually picked up the Ren energy 2000 Wattenberg because 3000 W. It's just too much for our needs in our camper. But we will be using the 3001 in the future.
