I was going to buy this last night but ended up buying the greenworks 8v screwdriver for $30. More torque and multi position unit but it is bigger as the tradeoff.

I'm not seeing any indication a charger is included. I think the info on the product page is wrong, unless by charger they mean the USB cable.

No it's not. It's not even close to the size of a compact drill driver. Plus it can change shapes, either the same shape as the kobalt or in a pistol grip. It has 5 clutch settings plus drill mode

for what purpose? these are not drills. dont expect to go far without pre-drilling. these do not tighten screws with drill-like power. i use a Skil pivoting version of this for my pc repair side gig. it's variable speed. i tried adding a hex chuck with a drill bit, and it did not have enough torque to drill.

Nah! nothing less than 8V, I'll pass. Oh wait! this is a screwdriver, think this will be great. I have the Skill with rotating ring to go clockwise or reverse, works great.

Nice piece, I just grabbed one and it is perfect for medium jobs. I already have one with more torque, and one for little jobs like getting into a laptop.
