This use to be the normal price for months before HD raised it to $69.98, I've been waiting for a $39 price.

If it's $49.98 and shipping is free, I'm not sure why $69.98 appears in your title description where it does. I would just remove it as it's confusing.

Put the regular price where it normally goes (you have $70 appearing there, which is fine IMO.)

As for the light, I have this and it's quite handy. This price is fine, it's a very useful tool. Multiple color settings, multiple power levels, top part detaches and can be used alone attached to something else if needed, and the "leaves" are flexible for directing just enough light to where you want.
The stand is a reasonable height and folds/extends/secures easily.

It's pretty good to light up your work site. The 3 LED strip one I mean. I got mine before for $40 + tax + free shipping on eBay. Maybe check there before ordering on HD.

how is this light for painting? I'm guessing not as good as the M18 Rocket with the 3 panels that retails for $500?

Have this light. Love the flexibility of the 3 lamp heads. Easy to charge with the USB-C port. The tripod is excellent allowing very good height adjustment. Tripod base is sturdy.

2200 lumens. A regular 100 watt equivalent LED screw-in light bulb is 1600 lumens. So it's not a light up the whole yard kind of light, but perhaps good for a small area task light.

just fyi, this one takes only the charging cord with elongated tip. the majority of my cables were not able to charge this thing. returned bc didn't want to commit to just one cable capable of charging it

It's ok brightness as a general work light. I use one for part of my woodworking space, but I would say it's probably not enough light for serious painting. Also, the battery on full power really doesn't last more than a few hours and it can be a pain to keep charged. It only accepts USB-C and you have to use an older slow-charge brick. IIRC, it flatout will not charge if you plug it into a fast charge brick.

What I'm getting at is it's a bit finnicky for any sort of professional level work where you don't want to mess around with stuff.

I've used several different USB C cables to charge mine. I'm not sure what you mean about needing a longer tip. Plain old phone charger cord worked for me.

maybe i had the faulty unit, but i compared the lights charging cable with my other usb-c cables, and i discovered that the lights one has a 2-3 mm longer tip. none of my charging cables couldn't charge the lights unit, only the cable came with it

We use an IV pole as a stand and hang lanterns on it
