HOW is this a deal ?? I bought this saw 2 years ago at HD for $99. Its a great little saw and for $99 I love it BUT in no world is it worth $169 bare tool.

This is a DCCS621. What you bought is likely the DCCS620. I paid $89 for mine and used it once. That was post-COVID, pre-tariff, $63 per bbl pricing. Perhaps not a slick deal but $169 is about as low as it's been in the last year. BTW, this matches the Acme price.

Did they fix the oil leaking issue on this model? I love my older one but having to empty it every time is annoying.

All Dewalt Battery chainsaws leak during storage, if it sits upright. If owner stores the chainsaw, with the oil fill cap facing upwards, then the oil leak is prevented. Yes, it's weird. Just do it.

pruning trees , hell even cut down and cut up smaller trees. The one I have is a best. I actually have a 16 inch bar and chain I swap onto it at times for a little larger stuff and works great. I have 2 larger chain saws and find myself grabbing this one 8 out of 10 times. BUT at 170 no f-ing way
