ty. I thought it was a good deal but was immediately met with downvotes for "spam/shilling" so was confused :/ I assume it's just folks that down have Micro Center near them.

Shilling lol, people are crazy. I want this just because of the ram and board but I don't like Intel, had an issue with the 8700k and they told me to pound sand, it was during a shortage but fuk those greedy A holes.

For the price today, this is actually a really good combo. Who ever has a MC near, and looking to upgrade, this is it.

Why do the bundles always seem to be for full sized ATX motherboards and rarely mATX or Mini-ITX? Does no one buy the full ATX boards anymore so they have too many in stock?

From what I recall from the Hardware Unboxed review the 270k Plus performed kinda between a 7800x3d and 9800x3d in gaming, and smoked them both in productivity... if you game at a higher resolution the gap closes a bit...

Having done customer builds on both boards now, I like the Elite a bit more, but I'd still just recommend the Eagle bundle for $50 less. It's a lot for little more, TB4, a 7 segment display, and slightly better VRM.

Very nice deal. I got the MSI Tomahawk version of this bundle a month ago for 650 and then 600 after a price adjustment when they lowered the price. I really like that board and it seems almost a wash with this one beyond looks and the 16x1x1 vs 16x1x2 heatsink this board has and this one having that reenforced backplate thing going on but I'm not sure really how much usefulness that actually is.

The only downside to this board I can really see compared to the Tomahawk is that the rear IO is not thunderbolt certified. This board does have ports on the board that would allow you to use a thunderbolt add in card but that's another 150 bucks and perpetually backordered.

Is this the same one that was $549.99 on Memorial day week?
