I just received a Sunex socket set from Amazon today, images showed Taiwan, box arrived labeled made in China. If I want made in China tools, I'll go to HFT and pick up their sockets. Same quality, much easier warranty process if one breaks (even though a lot of their sockets are Taiwanese and damn near unkillable).
