I have the Edge and LOVE it personally. I haven't had any joystick drift in mine even though I have hundreds of hours on it since it's release. Personally find that the "hair" triggers give an advantage on competitive fps games

Damn I just bought a new one for $180 (total) which was a great deal for new. Guess this one is going back to Best Buy.
Looks like my barely touched controller will be someone else's "open box excellent" deal in two weeks. Pay it forward, right?

Curious that the black model is going for more. While I typically default to black for most things, the white model has a really cool two-tone aspect to it that appeals to me way more.

I bought an open box excellent a week ago for 140 opened it up and it was beat to hell. Showed it to them they were like "oh this is definitly not in excellent condition we are going to regrade it" then they put it back on the shelf as excellent. Open it in the store some bestbuys try and charge you a return fee on open box items

I bought one of these in midnight a few months ago. Unlike the standard dual sense that's mostly matte black the edge is mostly glossy black I really dislike the color. I would have loved an anniversary but not available when I was ready for one. Imo I woulda shoulda choose white. It's a bit heavier than standard dual sense, the grips added some girth to grip handles it was a slight adjustment for my self , I got used to it. Battery life's a little less if you're playing wireless. I'd be skeptical buying open box Best Buy they don't have display model controllers which means most likely these are returns.i don't know every detail but seen a yt vid recent they revised these recently with a different/slightly better battery and a few other small differences . Not sure how to tell which model this is.

White released a year or so earlier so best buys system probably sees it just as an older sku

Just an FYI these controllers have really crappy batteries, so if you're into playing for 3+ hours at a time you're going to be seeing the low battery indicator a lot. With that being said, the controller in your hands feels great, and has a nice weight to it. I've had my controller since 4/25 and ive had to buy one replacement joystick because it developed drift. Swapping it out took my about 30 seconds which was really nice.

I'm in for a new one as I've been bitten by open box controller deals in the past. Last black friday it was 10 dollars cheaper than the 170 USD it is at currently, but I can't wait until November for a 10 dollar savings.

I prefer the ergonomics, stick placement, battery life and overall feel of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller - really hate the PS stick placement... BUT xbox controllers, especially the elite line, are cheap pieces of shit - you'll be lucky to last a year with one of those before something goes belly up with them. Even if you go in for geek squad protection that covers it when it goes south, you're still paying a fee on those controllers that is just too much.

These Edge controllers though, and the dual senses in general, are built like a tank - very high quality, including the components within the controller that controls things like wireless timings. Over time, I'll get used to the stick placement and be happier with something that is built to last and feels like an investment rather than a grift is my guess...

I got a Legion Go S open box excellent from Best Buy last fall that had deep and visible scratches on the screen. I returned it and just bought a new one. I don't think the open box is worth the gamble anymore.

I really like these although they can start to drift. Luckily you can swap out the joysticks or adjust deadzones.

Are these larger than the regular dual sense?

I have one and it's ok.. battery life is terrible though so use it wired. You also get better response time when wired as apposed to duelsense controllers.

Biggest piece of crap I ever bought. Got it when it first came out, had joystick drift within months, joystick modules out of stock for the next 2 years... The entire point of swapable joysticks gone. Battery life so terrible they might as well call it a wired controller. And the rubber swells and peels as well.

This is the perfect companion to the xbox elite controller, two worthless overpriced POS.
