I really liked Scarcity Brain, so bought The Comfort Crisis and was disappointed. Much of the Comfort Crisis is just a city guy recounting the novelty of his first hunting trip (with guides). For me it felt a bit like a first time author trying to fill pages until the book was the proper length and the accomplishment could be checked off a list. Scarcity Brain is more focused, demonstrates the gained writing experience, and is definitely worth $2.
