The Costco listing says the panel is 400W monocrystalline with "sunlight‑trapping surface" and up to 23% efficiency .
But folding panels have inherent losses:
Cell spacing
Wiring between segments
Heat buildup
Non‑ideal angle
Light diffusion across folds
Typical real output for ANY 400W folding panel:
240–300W normal
300–330W good sun
350W peak unicorn moment
So 243W is right in the normal range.

The panel weighs 35.54 lb and measures 39 × 26.6 × 2 inches folded .
That tells us:
It's built for durability (IP67 waterproof)
Not optimized for maximum efficiency per square inch
Not a glass rigid panel (those hit higher wattage)
Rugged = reliable
Portable = convenient
But not peak efficiency.
Would rather have this Anker but I would sell the panel it comes with and get the Renogy 400w rigid panel.
