Not smart promoting a trash deal that you posted; that has a much slower DDR4 RAM and a weak processor esp for gaming. This is much better even with half the RAM.

great deal for today's market if you can't build your own. have the 7500X3d driving the pc in the theater room paired with an RTX3080 and it plays 4k forza without a sweat.

Looks like this deal (the $69 more for DDR4 ram) has expired? But thanks for letting us know about our options BlueRaccoon Smilie .. and of course thanks ot you Dr. W for posting this deal Smilie ..

I couldn't tell exactly from the specs section but I'm guessing there are two 8 GB sticks of DDR5 ram? Don't get me wrong that's something to be thankful for in today's day and age when AI centers are gobbling up all the production allocation that would normally go to consumer grade ram Frown .. could be wishful thinking but I found myself hoping they might have slapped one 16 GB ram stick in there that could be matched with a secondary 16 GB ram stick.. some day.. when ram prices come down again even if it's years from now Stick Out Tongue (hopefully not a decade from now like some PC oriented news-type websites are grimly predicting).. and of course this is not intended as a criticism of the deal Dr. W posted by any means!

(yep I know I know you could just buy a second set of two 8 GB DDR ram sticks someday and stick that in the empty ram slots too looks like the motherboard has four ram slots .. I know this could be a "just me" situation and others may not have had this problem but.. and this sounds crazy I know but I swear it actually happened to me.. I had a PC with two 8 GB sticks of ram, identical manufacturer and model number and everything... bought two more 8 GB sticks of ram (gskill ) exact same manufacturer and model number (so all four same manufacturer same model number) and everything as the first two sticks of ram .. and the ram sticks still refused to "get along" blue screens of death and so forth.. the problems went away when I replaced them with two 16 GB sticks of a paired 32 GB corsair vengeance ... DDR 4 ram so this was admittedly years ago but when I posted about my problems online I was told that due to manufacturing differences when they're made the only way you can absolutely guarantee ram sticks will play well together is if you buy a single dual pair set ... again I'm just going by what I was told online when I posted in PC help forums there are people here on slickdeals who I'm sure would know more about this than I would who could weigh in here)

Depends on what he plays and what resolution you want to play at. My 13yr old plays Fortnite at 1440p on a 3060 with older 32gb of ddr4. He does play other titles but he's still happy with his setup. No need to over do it if you're on a budget. This rig is 2 generations above mine so this should be fine.
