I got x2 of the base units in and had to immediately return them due to issues. Ecoflow response wasn't the worst, but wasn't super easy either.

Granted, one of the two bad units was due to a wireless battery this variant does not have, but that I was 0 for 2 on units that had passed quality control on glaring issues has me not buying from Ecoflow refurb in the foreseeable future.

Also, for those hoping to use it for a UPS, the latest firmware update has made them unstable for UPS duties.

I'm curious about the UPS issues. Did they change the 10ms switchover? For the price and flexibility of size I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on this combo.

With the last firmware update in May some units across the Ecoflow system are shutting off randomly while in UPS mode - that includes the R3+. I didn't necessarily run across the issue myself because I never put them in rotation, but when I was troubleshooting the units when they came I ran across three separate posters who all implied that they were retiring their units in UPS duty given their frustration with the update.

I'm sure ecoflow will release another firmware that will stabilize it, but their customer support is not great. ...and what they missed on my R3+ units they really should not have before approving them as refurb units. I will say though the app shows all prior usage on them and they had barely a cycle or two recorded on each unit (though that may have been their refurb tests).

I just got a refurb Bluetti elite 100 in and really like the fact that it seems to have voltage clamping on it (though it came in defaulted to 50hz which wasn't cool). With my other power stations as UPSs, including my plans for the ecoflow, I have a dirt cheap voltage protector as no power station does good brownout protection as far as I'm aware.

Great price. Paid $309 a month ago and got a 2nd with this deal. Just arrived today. Main unit seems likely a return but looks very good, battery seemed brand new.

Tempted by the Anker due to its efficiency, but I went with two of these Ecoflow units instead and both seem brand new and have fast enough swapover to keep my server, NAS, and monitors up. Replacing aging APC UPS units and expecting the Ecoflow lifepo4 batteries to last much longer. They're great at this price since new units are $380 were slickdeals a few months ago

I picked up a refrub from ecoflow, Delta 3 classic for $300 a month ago... been great.
I was strongly considering the 3+ w/battery, but for about same I get more storage and higher surge and running wattage.

The continuous wattage was important as my gaming PC plus router/modem pull 700w-850w when I'm gaming, too much for the smaller 3+.

My $0.02

I ordered this refurb last month. I received the battery but FedEx delivered the main unit to the wrong address. When I contacted Ecoflow support about this, it was very frustrating. I provided proof that the package was misdelivered but Ecoflow was asking acting like it was stolen from my porch. They were insisting I needed to create a police report etc. Eventually, it was remedied when Ebay stepped in, but after weeks of back and forth and frustration. This listing is a good price but I'd rather avoid Ecoflow for now. Hopefully they improve their customer service in the future.

Lots of better options than this. The river 2 pro refurb was just front page last week and pops up every few months and is marginally lower capacity, but cheaper, and better overall features.

There's a delta 3 1000 air right now that's cheaper with higher capacity. You do sacrifice the high speed USB c port though.

Unless you really want something with an extra battery, I would keep looking.

I bit. The River 3 Plus and the EB600 were shipped from different locations. The EB600 arrived first, but I was still able to use its dedicated USB-C port (both input and output). The River 3 Plus arrived a few days later. Both units appeared to be in flawless condition and were enclosed in what seemed like retail boxes. I connected via the app and applied a firmware update. When connected, the units seemed to try to balance each other out, meaning that if one has a lot more battery SOC than the other, the one with more battery will charge the other to achieve some balance. I like this feature and if I didn't want it to act this way on a particular occasion, I could simply unhook the units. In terms of charging the units, I greatly prefer charging them together via AC plug. I did charge the EB600 alone via USB-C, but the charging brick naturally got pretty hot since the EB600 can suck up a lot of watts. Since the River 3 Plus has only has one USB-C port, I was able to connect a 12V cigarette plug containing a USB-C port to obtain a second port. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the purchase.
