Granted, one of the two bad units was due to a wireless battery this variant does not have, but that I was 0 for 2 on units that had passed quality control on glaring issues has me not buying from Ecoflow refurb in the foreseeable future.
Also, for those hoping to use it for a UPS, the latest firmware update has made them unstable for UPS duties.

I'm sure ecoflow will release another firmware that will stabilize it, but their customer support is not great. ...and what they missed on my R3+ units they really should not have before approving them as refurb units. I will say though the app shows all prior usage on them and they had barely a cycle or two recorded on each unit (though that may have been their refurb tests).
I just got a refurb Bluetti elite 100 in and really like the fact that it seems to have voltage clamping on it (though it came in defaulted to 50hz which wasn't cool). With my other power stations as UPSs, including my plans for the ecoflow, I have a dirt cheap voltage protector as no power station does good brownout protection as far as I'm aware.
I was strongly considering the 3+ w/battery, but for about same I get more storage and higher surge and running wattage.
The continuous wattage was important as my gaming PC plus router/modem pull 700w-850w when I'm gaming, too much for the smaller 3+.
My $0.02

There's a delta 3 1000 air right now that's cheaper with higher capacity. You do sacrifice the high speed USB c port though.
Unless you really want something with an extra battery, I would keep looking.
