Great price. I paid $269 for this 2 years ago. It doesn't shoot pins reliably straight. I use it mainly for holding things I glue together but have gone back to clamps because with long pin nails it will invariably and dangerously come out the side of the soft wood instead of going straight (finicky eject & alignment). Maybe someone more skilled will have better luck, but watch where your hand is so you don't get injured.

The reviews on this thing seem consistent where it jams or misfires.

It's likely the woodgrain deflecting these tiny pins- a 90° rotation might help

The 18 gauge? I'm not seeing any other of their nail guns on clearance for $175. Could you share the link please?

I've never seen an electric pin nailer that doesn't jam/misfire. Especially if users try to use inexpensive (or dewalt brand) pin nails.

That's good advice for any type of nailer. My adult son shot a 8p nail partially into his hand when he was building his workshop. The nail was angled so the tip came out and he had his hand too close. Taped it up and went back to work.
