I ordered this set on eBay a couple weeks ago when it was posted here. Same seller, similar price, free shipping. It was shipped in a poly mailer bag and the box was thoroughly crushed when it arrived. I emailed VIP Outlet but haven't received any response yet.
I've ordered a few items from VIP Outlet in the past and this is the first time I've had an issue. Too bad they don't bother to reply.

Same experience. Poor shipping protection. I contacted the seller and no reply.
Same here but finally heard back from CPO after a week and returned the two sets I ordered.
Also same. I wouldn't buy a lego set that you care about the condition of the box for from these people. If anything goes wrong, (as it did for me with an incorrect item sent,) they take weeks to respond... but they did eventually.

These comments are unhinged... I want 60% off my Lego set and for it be In pristine condition. Like if you don't like the way this company does business and the massive mark down as a result go pay full retail in store

If they are shipping out damaged goods, they need to disclose that in the item description rather than stating item condition as new. From the eBay listing for this item:
"Item Condition - New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag."
So you're suggesting I'm being unreasonable If I expect to receive an item matching that description? And if instead receive the very well beaten and battered item I posted a picture of above I shouldn't expect anything better? 🙄

I purchased 4 of these. All camed trashed in a mailer bag. And the crazy part is they won't even accept them back in the Bags. So they expect me to purchase boxes to send them back to them in. I wouldn't doubt they sent out messed up sets to begin with. Totally thinking about just escalating it up the PayPal. Anyone here have experience with that.

I am now rewarding this bad behavior by buying this set. As long as all the pieces are there, I don't care about the box or instructions.
