Otherwise, once paired to Hass via matter, these work great! Brightness and color control fully supported. If you have a newer router, there's very little lag.
I think of older houses I previously had where the major light source for a room was a single fixture (maybe with multiple bulbs) like a ceiling fan or something in the center of the room that needed to cast out to all corners/walls so A19s were a default option. My house now that has canned lights (what these bulbs are for) has them all over the ceiling well dispersed. Instead of one centralized light source that needs to be super bright to hit everywhere, I have 4 or 6 cans all over the place, so lower lumens/wattage is definitely preferred and overall I end up with both more light and its more even.
I normally find this to be the sweet spot, but it's definitely personal preference. I'm used to 800 lumens being a standard with an A19 bulb, especially when the purpose is to throw light out in all directions. While 650 lumens is obviously < 800 lumens, its reflected only forward which makes a big difference. With an A19 for example, a significant chunk of those lumens are traveling away from you because that bulb has a different intended purpose.
