In mid 2026, with OLED, 32GB of ram and a 1TB nvme, this is hard to beat at < $800 for a like-new open box.
What do mean no esc? The entire action row is lit up and if you hold the fn key all of the f's are there. Doing a quick search it appears maybe that can be disabled in the bios. IDK
Also I first did all of the windows updates and then went to dell's site and let it detect the pc and search for updates, of which there were I think 3 more. Also, the latest bios update is 1.10.0 You can check that with cpu-z

I checked mine (labelled as in "Good" condition). The stats show 591 Power On Hours with 98 Power on cycles. The battery health is at 93% and the warranty will expire in late Oct 2026.
I tried to look at the right bottom corner. On a white screen, there seems something looking like 3 arcs but I am really not very sure.
I fed all the info into chatgpt and its analysis says 20% chance as a display unit and 80% chance that the laptop was used by a user who then returned it.
Will have to dig further...

I will go back to bestbuy. If they allow the price match from $749 to $658, I might keep it (still could return it within the next 14 days if other issues surface). If they refuse, I will definitely return it.

As mentioned in my previous posts, mine is 591 Power on hours in crystaldisk and 93% health. Battery cycle is 2. But after going through various testing, I am relatively sure that it is a display model that started in Oct 2025.
Hope yours isn't in the same situation.
How does the "Battery Report" show? You might want to pay specific attention to the "Usage History".
