Fast charger included is the DCB118, which can be had new on Amazon for $139, lowest in Price History seems to bearound $90. Lowest battery I've seen is around $90. So overall even if all three were $90 separately, you're saving $30 or another 10% more on this deal.

seems to be a great deal if you want top of the line for "middle of the pack" DIY/lite job site tool and battery and charger. it seems if you got this deal and like higher end equipment, then you won't find a better deal.

In terms of consumer grade it would be milwaukee. This is coming from someone who exclusively owns DeWalt stuff. I can work on my truck, home, home gym, camping, etc, zero issues

Not sure what you mean by middle of the pack?
The DCF860 is the superior driver!
This combo with the 9ah battery is a weird and heavy one.
I'd prefer the 6ah battery kit which includes a 6 amp charger, and call it a day!
I was lucky enough to catch that $65 deal at home depot

This set up falls within the high-tier* category of tools for general pro use (ex. tradesmen and contractors) along with the likes of Milwaukee's M18 FUEL, Makita's 18v XLT, and other similar lines. The impact driver is a part of Dewalt's XR line that's meant for pro use, it's currently dewalt's highest power impact driver, and it's among the top performing impact drivers available right now. Flexvolt batteries are for heavy-duty applications, powering Dewalt's 60v tool line up as well as providing an extra punch for certain 20v tools.

*One could separate a tier above this of extra premium or heavy duty specific line ups composed of likes of Festool and Hilti, but as is the case with the mid tier, the distinction gets blurry. Some the high tier entries perform better than tools in this extra premium tier, some mid-tier brands have specific tools that out perform certain high-tier entries, Dewalt the others have lower-tier product lines, the tool makers have other distinctions for higher voltage offerings, etc.

Good deal. The 860 slaps. Will destroy screw heads and bits on the highest settings. It is very fast. Slap a socket and some lag screws on there and be amazed.
It do be vibrating. Feels like dragging a trashcan down the driveway but she's a certified choocher. Mucho skookum.
Battery brings the deal to almost slick. Charger is a huge bonus.

Great deal but I can't pull the trigger since my 10 year old driver still works lol. FYI this charger is insane and charges my Dewalt batteries in a matter of minutes - orders of magnitude faster than the normal Dewalt chargers.
