Screen is better on the MacBook Pro, and I like to have ports on both sides, and native HDMI port is great too. I'd take those features over the extra 8GB of memory. YMMV.

Still too expensive… this should be the M4 pro version. Like when they had the M3 Pro, and those got down to $999.97. This will go down more.

Not a deal. Silver was just $900 last week at some stores
That was a manager's special at just one store, on the last one they had in stock - a floor model that was plugged-in and on 24/7.

it is great price with great screen, but i personally prefer Air which shares the same chip and is lighter and cheaper.

So the deal won't show online or in app? Only in store ? Or is it dead ?
It is only in-store, but you can check the price through the Costco app.

Apple pricing has always been crazy, be it storage, ram. Etc.

Recommend to call in to have them check if it's actually in stock. App showed in stock but was sold out since yesterday. The floor supervisor was able to confirm stock for nearby Costco's and was able to snag one.

16gb for the pro line doesn't make sense. Loading a basic vscode project with minimum docker simple containers (app + database) and a couple browser tabs is already using close to 20gb. Bare minimum is MacBook Air 24gb.

If you have to touch coding at all whether for school or for work, this don't cut it.

People who jump on this 16gb deal, what's your use case that isn't met by say the MacBook Neo or Air?
