Honest questions. How do posts like this get repped?
Best Buy is notorious for having one open box deal at one location that one guy got lucky on.

Also, my personal experiences with open box items at my local Best Buys has been horrendous. Unless the item is in horrible condition you can forget about any kind of deep discount.

I bought an Acceptable 65" LG B9 at the beginning of the pandemic for $900 where they would not even let you in the store. You had to pay out front and they brought it out to you after. No box, but it was all wrapped up and came with stand and remote. Had 71 hours on it. Looked and worked perfect.

It's hit or miss from what I hear but I got the hit.

Only the people with bad experiences are posting about them, I get it l. I recently bought a 43 inch TV for my son's dorm that was open box good. I looked at 2 TVs and 1 was a bad panel and the other one was brand new with plastic still covering the screen and the remote still had the battery slip in it.
I also bought the Sony Theater Bar 8 for $350 open box fair. It has a slight rip about 1/4 inch on top of the bars speaker fabric otherwise looks and works perfectly.
That's why I say especially if there are several available inspect 1 or 2 of them.

Dude 65" has been $999 at LG Partner store. This is not a good deal. Open Box TVs especially OLEDs are absolutely horrible at Best Buy

You are talking buying cheap dorm TVs as open box and other cheap items. Not an issue. Not an $1500 OLED that who knows how many hours is on it.
