I upgraded from my decade old Ryobi 40v set up and the Makita lawn equipment is super duper nice. The mower is skookum and has a quiet mode.

Get the 8amp hour batts, not 4. Most of the bad reviews are from people buying the 4amp hour kit and not having enough run time.
