It seems like a lot of people dislike TeamGroup products and I don't know why. They were the go-to flash drives for our business. They were cheap and reliable. Out of a couple hundred drives, we only had a couple fail and that was years later. People tend to lose them before they break at our company.

I've never put all my trust into one media type. Always have back ups. Multiple flash/SD cards, cloud, NAS.

Every card or drive could go bad. Just expect it to fail and have backups in place to be safe.

While I can't speak to this particular model, I've found Team Group SD cards and flash drives to be extremely unreliable.

Teamgroup is becoming the new go-to brand for quality and value, while prestigious brands like Samsung, Sandisk, Lexar, and Kingston are now extremely expensive, even Amazon Basics.

I don't trust teamgroup especially not with an unreliable microsd card. Hoping someone or a group of someone's can change my mind.

ETA: main use is in a camera to record 4K videos.

Finally a half decent price for a 1tb sdcard. Even this hurts when I look back at my Amazon purchases and see sub $70 1tb samsung micro sd card orders from less thana year ago. I'm debating on whether I should act now or pray I can sub one of my others in if something comes up while I wait for brands I have more trust in to become affordable.
(Omg, the crazy intrusive full screen ad that has been popping up all day here interrupting everything is driving me mad. I don'teven shop at Sephora and definitely don't plan to after this experience. I guess the normal kickbacks aren't enough anymore. Lol)

Damn. I really am in the market for a microsd and I want either a 512gb or 1tb. This is teamgroup and I am not wanting to poke that bear. I think I will wait and see what amazon prime day will bring. (probably nothing)

For what it's worth I see a lot of posting about people reporting it failing at the 6-8 month mark.

Easy answer, no.
Team Group is known for cheap products for a reason, they cut corners and it is obvious.
If used mostly as a read-only card you should be fine. However I would not use it for anything other than that.
I most definitely would not use it for photos or video. They have a long history of going bad without showing errors. You go to use it one day and everything is corrupted.

This.

Never fully trust *any* media.

Always test your cards for fakes and/or counterfeits.

Someone earlier said "storage" who stores their precious files on microSD cards, that's insane!

I'm running 2x Teamgroup high endurance microSD cards in 2 security cameras. The cameras are doing loop recording 24x7. They have been running for about 1 year. Have had zero problems with them.

Not exactly the same cards so YMMV.

I wish it is v60, not v30.
