I have HomeBase 2. Is it required to use Homebase? It says built in 8GB on amazon.

I bought 5. Pretty happy with them. Picture quality looks great. Low light isn't bad either. The solar panels keep them charged no problem in partially lit spots. The only thing I don't like is that they only record when there's motion and it sends a notice to my phone. I have the eufy doorbell too so I want those notifications but I don't want all the camera ones. I'm still playing the settings to fix that.

I've owned two and only issue I have is it says solar panel isn't connected when it is and it is fully charged and still charging Not a fan of the home base, it does offer better alerts with the AI but makes it susceptible to jamming (always picks up with package pirates around Christmas)

I got about a year and a half out of one of these before moisture got into the lens. Researching a fix, someone found that Eufy puts a silica bag in them to absorb moisture. It was saturated. Not my idea of waterproof. I liked it other than that. When the light comes on or they notice the camera tracking them, the bad guys tend to turn right back around.
