Dishwasher safe would be a good feature but if you just want a good travel mug their older model gets significantly cheaper, I've picked one up for $24 in the past.
Regardless, Zojirushi quality is excellent and they're one of a very select few brands that I recommend without reservation.

Edit: I should mention that I have owned six in various sizes, and in various places as family inevitably "borrow" them forever. And I have one of their rice cookers too. The only advice I can give is try to get an ugly color. It's the only deterrent I've found so far.

Why is this labeled in the listing as a "Water Bottle" and not "Insulated Stainless Steel Mug" like most of Zojirushi's other coffeeware? Just wondering if there is any practical difference between Water Bottle and Mug in their terminology.

Honestly, it's just because I didn't deviate from the text of the merchant's listing. Coffeeware is probably a more appropriate description. I actually thought to post this because I received my order today, so I can confirm the package says "stainless mug."
To be clear, Zojirushi's website describes it as a stainless mug. Amazon's listing says water bottle.

How is it to wash? I have an Owala right now and the seal in the lid is a pain to remove and wash.
