I bought this doorbell about a year ago. It was working pretty well initially but I've noticed that it now takes longer and longer for it to register activity via the camera and to send me a notification. Same thing with the doorbell ringing. Unless someone pushes the doorbell then I get a notification relatively quickly but based on activity it takes a bit of time for the notification to reach my phone. One time I got a ringing notification and when I went and looked at it, the moment I got the notification the person had already left.

Interesting. Did you try to reset it?

I have a nest doorbell wired that is about 6-7 years old and will need to be replaced soon. I pay $10 month and it is reliable for what it is. Should change eco system to something free? Or just buy a new one from google nest

I don't think I've done that for the device specifically as I'm afraid of screwing something up which may require that I need to rewire anything. I doubt this would be the case, however.

But, I have hard power cycled my Internet connection with no noticeable change.

Good video doorbell. I have it and no complaints. You may find it cheaper elsewhere.

Have 2 of them. Had one for 2.5 years and it was solid and fast no issues. It was hardwired and battery. Left that one at the old place and bought a new one since I really like this doorbell camera. Still works great and can get a live feed pretty quickly.

Ordered it this morning from Amazon. Ebay is refurbished but you get 2 years warranty. Not bad.

I have one that replaced a Ring. Battery life and image quality are better than the Ring, and no yearly fee.
Two minor issues: you can't turn off the package camera, and make sure you don't have anything covering the top when installing (I have an old mechanical doorbell that can't be removed), otherwise it'll be difficult to insert the tool needed to remove it.
