For those of you that are interested the TV stand is height adjustable. I watched a couple videos on YouTube and it can get plenty high enough for a sound bar.

The TCL QM7K is a bright mid tier 4K gaming TV that stands out for PS5, Xbox Series X, and movie use. The screen is praised for strong brightness, vivid color, good contrast, and solid speakers, with the adjustable stand high enough to clear a sound bar. The current $500 price is described as the lowest yet, and price matching at Best Buy or Walmart has worked smoothly. Main cautions are shipping damage risk, and direct TCL returns may require return shipping and a restocking fee.

Console gamers playing PS5 Pro or Xbox Series X, because the screen is praised as bright, responsive, and strong for gaming.

Living rooms with lots of daylight, because the panel is described as significantly brighter and easier to watch in a well lit room.
izzie.real Penniwinks JollyHose932
Movie and sports viewers who want punchy color and contrast, because the picture is described as vibrant, bright, and close to OLED-level quality.
izzie.real Penniwinks JollyHose932
Buyers who plan to use a sound bar, because the height-adjustable stand can be raised enough to clear one.
DanMan5464 izzie.real

Shoppers who need a compact TV for a desk setup, because the 55-inch size may be too big for a PC monitor alternative.
skang1588
Buyers who want low-risk shipping, because these TVs can arrive destroyed in transit.
ls1dreams
People ordering direct and expecting easy returns, because return shipping and a restocking fee may apply unless the TV is defective.
1CaesaR1
Open-box bargain hunters who need a complete accessory set, because one open-box unit arrived missing the stand and with dings on the corners.

Common Questions (5)

Yes. Walmart matched the price after a call, and Best Buy has also refunded the difference when the TV dropped further after purchase. Best Buy Plus can make repeat price matching and returns easier, with up to 60 days for returns.
bsg273 -MoistTowelette-Alex2691 -MoistTowelette-
Yes. It's reported as a strong gaming TV for PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X, and PS5, with users calling the picture amazing and the set a great value for gaming. The 144Hz panel and bright Mini LED display make it a solid choice for fast games and well-lit rooms.
ryanlcarpenter Alex2691 Penniwinks
The QM7K is described as the better buy for about $50 more because it has a brighter screen, more dimming zones, better contrast, more vibrant colors, a slightly faster processor, adjustable stand, and better speakers. The QM6K Pro's main advantage is its anti-reflection screen.
izzie.real jamesl JollyHose932
Yes. The included stand is height adjustable and can be raised enough to fit a sound bar underneath. That makes it easier to use a center-channel or sound bar setup without needing a wall mount.
DanMan5464 izzie.real
Buying direct from TCL can drop the price to about $475 with code WELCOME5. However, direct orders may not include free returns, and return shipping plus a possible restocking fee can apply unless the TV is defective.

Nice... I've been waiting for this one. Beef is unaffordable, but TVs are cheap.

Damn, that's a great price. Open box fair for only $384.99 too. I'm about to head over to BB to check an open box out. I don't even need this, but I'd happily replace my 55" QM5K for that price.

I bought this TV about a month ago when it was on sale for $600. I went to Best Buy today for a price match and they gave me back the $100 plus tax. I've been enjoying this TV all through the World Cup, the picture is amazing and I'm satisfied with the Bang & Olufsen sound. I have a nice ULTIMEA sound bar system but decided to use it for a different TV.

I just watch the "All Beef Channel" to mitigate my hunger pangs.

I got the LG B5 for $650 but would have jumped on this instead if it were available a month ago. Great deal for a solid mid tier TV.

In the UK they watch the BBC (British Beef Channel).

I got the open box fair at my local BB when they were $304, + tax - added the 5 year protection for $69.99, and it was missing the stand, had some dings on the bottom corners, and was wrapped in bubble wrap (no box) but screen itself was perfectly fine. Pretty sure it was a display model cause it was in story mode when hooked up.
