I got this used with 99hrs locally for about 1000 less than this, including a 2 yr warranty that transferred, same number and size of batteries but no wall charger. Love it, easy to maintain and cuts fast and clean. I had a notification on for this and would have jumped so fast had I not gotten lucky with the local purchase. I have only seen 1 error thrown and it was because I got it stuck on rocks. If you get this, make sure you are aware of its lack of slope mowing capabilities.
This Greenworks 60V 42 inch zero turn stands out as a quiet, low maintenance electric mower that cuts fast and clean, with enough battery capacity to handle large yards. The included six batteries and wall charger plug directly into the mower, and charging is described as convenient and fairly quick. Real world reports put mowing range around 1.5 to 2.5 acres, with tall grass and rough, rooty terrain handled well. The main caution is slope use, since steep hills are a weak spot and Greenworks lists a 15 degree maximum. It is a strong fit for big, mostly flat properties.
Homeowners with a few acres of mostly flat grass, because it cuts fast and clean, handles 1.5 to 2.5 acres, and stays quiet with low maintenance.
It is not a good choice for steep slopes. Greenworks recommends a maximum 15-degree slope, and owners report it can slide or miss the mark on inclines, so it works better on flatter ground or when mowing carefully up and down mild slopes.
Yes, it can cut tall grass and rough ground well. It has been used on 2.5- to 3.5-foot weeds, 6- to 8-inch fescue, and rooty or bumpy terrain, though the ride can be rough and uneven spots can cause scalping if you approach them poorly.
Real-world runtime is around 1.5 to 2.5 acres depending on grass height, terrain, and battery setup. Reports include about 2 acres in roughly an hour, about 1.5 acres with no problems, and about 2.5 acres on 4 batteries.
Yes. The included wall charger plugs directly into the mower, so the batteries do not need to be removed for charging. The charger is an all-in-one setup that stays on the mower's battery rack.
No. It can operate with as few as three batteries, and it will also run with more batteries installed for longer runtime. The battery compartment has three columns tied to drive, right blade, and left blade functions, so each column needs at least one battery to start.
Is anyone else's order stuck on "placed"? I'm wondering if this will ever ship. I had a bad experience with Walmart once before with an expensive item at a low price that never shipped.
Mine arrived today and haven't unboxed it yet. But I might have been really early on the deal.
How was the delivery? I have a Maersk tracking number for tomorrow and I tried to call them for a window because I have to be gone for an hour.
I called and they redirected me to Walmart about delivery scheduling, which seems odd for freight.
Not very good. They use lift gate but the crate is larger than the lift gate. I was worried it was going to fall off. I just happed to have a John Deere mower picked up for a return and that guy helped this guy out using a forklift
I have two of the portable chargers and the charging takes forever. The batteries all arrived on the lowest charge

It was fine for me. Arrived just after 11am while I was in a meeting but I was able to step away for about 10m. It was a very tight unloading on the truck but they got it down safely and set by my garage. I got it assembled and its on the charger now. I had a lot of trouble with some of the bolts on the metal shipping cage so you may need to break out more than the two little wrenches it comes with.

Did it end up coming with a charger you plug into the the mower without taking the batteries out like in the pictures? Or does it come with three separate chargers where you have to take out all the batteries? Thank you.

Also, was it the full set of 6 batteries? The order screen is very detailed from Walmart showing the 6 batteries and the 600W charger.
However the deal doesn't line up. Nobody has this specific SKU within $1,000 of this price with both 6 batteries and the 600W charger.
Well, according to Maersk I may know within a few hours.

Got my mower in this morning. It does come with 6 batteries and the charger you plug into the mower without removing the batteries. The delivery guy called twice before I got up and he was here waiting when I woke up about 8am. Delivery was quick and easy he dropped it right where I wanted it in my yard. So far I'm happy. I did a small area of mowing after assembly but it wasn't delivered with much charge. Charging now and it seems to be charging pretty quick.

Same here, just showed up less than an hour ago. The mower equipped as expected, but with a different panel than what I saw in reviews. It says "type 2" - not sure if that is it.
Larger all-in-one charger and battery bank fully populated with 6 batteries.
I have it on the charger now, haven't removed it from the rack it comes on. It's massive - I have never received a metal crate before, just wood. Lots of bolts but easy enough with a impact driver.
Looking forward to mowing with this thing! I got a SKU of 7422502 on the outside of the box, which matches what I expected was sold. Still amazed at this deal! It is $5499.99 on Greenworks, and about $4000 on Amazon prime-day special.
I charged my mower to about 80-85% before I got impatient and went to try it out. I mowed my roughly 2 acre yard in about an hour. Some of my grass in the far back was almost 3 ft tall and this mower took it down no problem. So far I'm very impressed. The electric car type charger makes this so much better. It would be a huge pain to have to remove the batteries to charge all the time.

Mine was scheduled for delivery today but it never arrived. I called Maersk and was told that the delivery team always calls at least 30 minutes before delivery. I had no missed calls today. Just FYI in case yours doesn't arrive by the estimated delivery date.
I ordered this on the 23rd. It was supposed to be delivered 6/26 but I got an email showing the order was delayed. I called customer service and the guy told me that the item is out of stock and I might as well cancel the order. I told him not to do that. The status is "Delayed, check back for updates". I'm wondering if they are going to cancel the order and not honor the deal. This mower has gone out of stock and back in stock after I placed my order. Anybody have thoughts?

Do you have a tracking number, or did it not ship at all? Mine was also supposed to be delivered on the 26th but did not arrive. But I have a tracking number and can see that it is currently about 500 miles from my location. If you have a tracking number, I wouldn't cancel your order.
