Owned these. One of the first ever mainstream earbuds that clip. NOT comfortable on my big man ears. Hard plastic that has no bend or give. Sound quality was really good though, but for the same price there are more comfortable options from baseus, earfun, etc.

I'm familiar with "open ear" but not with "clip on".
Are there magnets holding the two points together?

its a hard plastic piece in the shape of a C that you put on the top of your ear where its the slimmest and slide it down your ear. Once its in place it definitely wont come loose, and thats the only benefit of this kind of earbud is if you are doing major movements like exercise or doing something where you absolutely dont want it to come loose because its not very comfortable, but you trade comfort for stability.

2nd this. I've tried a half a dozen clip style headphones. The c30is were the best sounding yet most uncomfortable open ear clips I've encountered. Sadly, they also didn't survive long. If you see this Anker, fix the clip and the QC and you'll have a hit product.
