For anyone waiting 18 release, rumor has it prices will go up. Again. Which is kinda crazy, considering they just went up for 17 pro... just get a 17 at this rate yah? #RAMapocalypse

I'm seriously considering buying this especially if I could do a trade-in and the phones unlocked but I've never bought from Amazon renewed. Are these renewed phones generally top condition or better than expected especially when it comes to how good the battery life is? Also if I don't like it for any reason, can I just ship it back and get a refund?

Edit: bought it, will receive tomorrow, doing a trade in for iPhone 13 Pro Max. Used my freedom flex to bank the quarterly chase points too Smilie

It looks like Amazon's trade in value is $100 less for my phone (16 Pro) than what Apple offers. While this Amazon price is for a used one it would still be under warranty and would save about $200 relative to a new one from Apple.

After my Metro 16e arbitrage I have $930 in Apple gift cards and I'm wondering whether I go with the 17 Pro or wait for the 18-18 Pro.

With the upcoming price hikes, i'm curious whether Verizon/etc will up their trade-in values for phone swaps when upgrading to an 18 ProMax as well... I've got no reason to upgrade my 15promax, unless Verizon/TMobile makes me an offer I can't refuse... or maybe just wait for the iPhone XX...

This is tempting but after going through the prompts, the trade in will be credited via amazon gift card applied to my account. As far as I can tell, there is no way to get an actual credit to your payment method as opposed to a gift card.

My uncle is on verizon and he had the 15 pro max financed for three years, I think he had one more year to go but verizon offered to pay off his 15 pro max as well as $1,100 or $1,000 in trade credit for his 15 pro max. I can't remember the exact amount but he's only paying around $3 per month for his 17 pro maxVerizon is expensive but it's the only carrier that works for him since he's a trucker. Maybe you have a similar deal

Thanks! I'm going to pass then, especially for something with no warranty. The 17 from Apple is new and a lot cheaper and not much difference in spec.
