Honestly, you could 3d print something to slide your phone into and do the same thing for $0.75...
How would one print a controller with a battery?

I'm more interested in the 3D printer that can print the Bluetooth chipset.

Input lag is apparently bad for iphones. Only purchase with intention to use with Android.

It has really good reviews from trusted retro handheld youtube channels...however seems kinda niche at the same time. I guess it is for the person who doesn't want to dedicate a phone to one of those clamp on controllers. This also looks like it might play nicer with an installed phone case as well.

However to me carrying both your phone and this controller (plus field assembly...even if quick) seem like a hassle and also really limits the type of games you can play since your phone would need to be in the vertical orientation to use (so no modern wide screen games unless you want them to be absurdly small) But for 4:3-ish games you'd only be using half your screen so no real real estate lost. You can also use it as a standard BT controller not physically touching your phone so there is that as well.

Tech Dweeb's review is highly favorable:

I have it and it's fairly good on my S25 Plus. A little cramped, but it does the job.

Issues of dpad and input problems... Along with a lot of games down being compatible due to resolution, orientation, sizing format
