Why forced out? I haven't had a price increase to an old grandfathered unlimited plan. It's still $185/mo. for 6 lines though. The biggest reason for staying has been the perks like free Netflix and Hulu.
it will be 6 dollar increase per line. im paying 140 for 6 line with tmobile military one plan.

Back in 2017 I was very down on my luck financially. I signed up for Mint Mobile and was on their cheapest annual plan until ~6 months ago. It started out as 3gb/mo then it went to 5gb/mo and now it is 6gb/mo. Mint Mobile's lowest tier plan was and still is hard to beat if you pay for it annually (even outside of promo prices)...but if you can find another $5/mo-$15/mo you can get get A LOT more data and better data priority (depending on network) through US Mobile. Mint Mobile will always hold a special place in my heart because they kept me connected through the rough times and, like I said, their 6gb/mo plan (when paid annually) is very hard to beat.

Spectrum is in limited areas and I've heard mixed on their service and comcast's 'free' cell service that comes w/these internet deals.
I can attest to this. We live in a valley with tall mountains surrounding us and have always had to rely upon T-mobile wifi calling. I'm shopping around for deals due to T-mobile kicking our plan to the curb so we're voting with our feet and won't give another penny to the new owners of Mint. With Verizon and Visible (Verizon network), I was able to get 1 bar of service that actually worked. I tested out the free service/SIM from Spectrum as we have gig internet service with them and it flat out did not work even though it supposedly uses the same Verizon towers. FWIW Visible has a free 15 day trial you can immediately download an eSIM to try out the Verizon network in your area. https://www.visible.com/free-trial

how is $25 in a similar range to $15? even with the recovery fee of $25 up front, still $17.08 a month.

recovery fee is a $25 one time upfront charge, but you can offset this through cashback sites paying $10 CB or more to buy this plan.

still do the math and what you get on the services. $25 over 12 months is $2.08 a month, so use $17.08 a month as your benchmark.

No one can beat Spectrum for 1 year free mobile service with Internet required. I am currently on 2nd free year and I will do it again when the 2nd free year is done on upcoming September.
Currently have wife on this and it's great. How did you get a 2nd year free?
