I'm kind of baffled by this. Ego makes OPE. What OPE ecosystem user has a need for a 10" fan? I can see a tradesman working in a structure with no electrical access needing one, but such tradesmen are far more likely to use a cordless fan from a brand that makes power drills, saws, etc.

I think you're missing the point. This is meant for outdoors in the sun and not indoors and has a mist feature where you put on top of a 5 gallon bucket or hose to cool down. This is great way to cool down to use wherever it gets hot outdoors under the sun. The misting feature really cools you down and the osculation is great compared to the Ryobi version that points in one direction.
And because they can and why not? EGO wants to make more tools to maximize profits and allow users to stay in the ecosystem like Ryobi.

In for 2. I have 2 of the 18" fans which work great but take up a lot more space. These look good for convenience when I don't want to pack up the 18" fans.

Stack with Lowe's gift card seals from Kroger's or Sam's Club

I got this the last time it was on sale for $150 and it is amazing. Well built. It is made to perfectly fit on top of a 5 gallon pail and has a hose to get the water for misting. We used it for an outdoor party last weekend and it cooled us down when it was 90+ outside. Also great for my son's baseball games!
