This is the older model. The newer model also pairs with the 4'6" pruner extension handle.

Bought this one because it was so cheap and it works great for small cleanup.

The pole extension model looks really nice but it's only $20 cheaper and doesn't come with battery which is $50.

So for $30 you get the extension pole option but need to still buy a charger if this is your first foray into Kobalt 24v and don't already have one.
