This is a decent combo for someone looking to get into an AM5 starter build... if you have or can get DDR5 ram for a decent price. Otherwise if you live near a Microcenter go that route (as always).

Edit: I just saw this same bundle with a 9600X for $20 more. Definitely worth the $20 more IMHO.

Yeah, this is what made me not buy, overall good deal, but DDR5 prices kills the deal.

I don't see a reason to not buy the 9600X bundle for only $20. This shouldn't even be a separate post. It should have been included as an option in the 9600X deal post (if at all).
