I got this deal in January and completely forgot I had AppleCare+. Totally worth it because I dropped an AirPod and the case on concrete at work. I didn't use them since January. Just had them fixed/replaced by Apple yesterday.

Costco shows it as $0 on the invoice so likely its just redundant since you can't opt out of it to get a discount.

So let's say I buy these and I don't renew my Costco membership next year (which I'm considering). Does the Apple Care still apply as valid on it's own, or does it need to go through the Costco membership to be valid?

These headphones have been "on sale" at literally every major retailer for the last 4 months there's no chance in hell a new model isnt coming out in the next 2-3 months probably will be released with the next iPhone in October so they can discount these Airpods Pro 3 for Black Friday/holidays

It's separate. I did an AppleCare claim in February and hadn't had a Costco membership for a bit

and to answer the other person above, I think it was $25 for the deductible? Or somewhere around that price
