I had read a lot of iffy reviews on this but I ended up purchasing one previously and the few times I've used it, it has worked really well. I'm not sure if this is an updated version to the one I purchased (Milwaukee 2488-20).
I've had this one a few years, and love it. My only gripe is that it heats up slowly, but at least it has a light when it reaches its temps. It definitely doesn't replace a decent powered iron which can usually heat up in under 20 seconds. This one takes more like 1:30. One thing that is really helpful is the red warning flasher when it is still cooling down, so you never put a warm iron back in your bag. All in all a solid performer. However, a cheap TS100 iron and a USB-PD battery pack will serve you just as well for a lot less. The Milwaukee also doesn't really have the power for really chunky joints.
