The hand that pretty much got me for the entire game (even though I lasted a while after it) was with Brains and on the table was 8, something, K and I had 88. I think I raised the flop half the pot and Brains joined in, then another K on the turn. I think we both checked then Brains bet a nice sized bet on the river and I just called. He had K8. ugh

You know what, interestingly enough, I knew you were beat that hand, and figured you had a good hand. It was our previous banter here that saved you. I wanted you to stick around for a while, otherwise, I would have pushed with the nuts.

Side note - I ALWAYS play K8o. If you're ever in a pot with me on a board like that, RUN! Smilie

But you were crippled, and hung on for quite a bit after that. Well done.

Which table were you on? I think I finished 7th but I was crippled early on by the previously mentioned hand with Brains.

I was sitting right beside you!! Bye

LuckyDoug70 - I finished 13th. 7th is great, cuz you were really down for awhile, esp. with your 88 beat. worship

Brains, are you from Norfolk, NE? Do you pronounce it, "Norfork"? laugh out loud I was there last weekend is why I ask. Whee

No bad beats for me. I just didn't get any freaking hands. I finally shove with TJ on a 89A board. Get called by Q9. I have approximately 12,568 outs. No love....

That's exactly what I mean. It's PokerStars, aren't open ended straight draws 94% to hit?Confused

This is what I don't get about this idea. If you think online is rigged, why are you playing?

Yes. Tons of people actually think online poker is rigged to make draws hit more often than they statistically should.

I thought that when I put 12,568 outs that sarcasm would be obvious.Stick Out Tongue

The reason people think that is because people call on a draw when playing online A LOT more than they will live. It is merely selective memory. No one remembers when they hit their draw or their hand holds up.

My problem is I have zero patience when playing online. I get bored. When playing live I can talk to people and watch the other players.
