(2) You cannot use a credit card to make a deposit on online gambling, But some online gambling will accept DEBIT card payments (MC works better than Visa though)
(3) Some merchants that charge credit card surcharges will not with these because these are DEBIT cards.
(4) This is by far the most powerful of all. You can cause overcharge with these if you know how to do it. I started a "club" with the like minded people from SD and the people who got cheated on the TigerDirect Rebate prepaid cards. Most of them just wanted revenge. We did discover new tricks and shared it among ourselves. One of the trick was overcharging the card at the gas stations to get dirt cheap gas. I was against it because the gas station lost money, not Visa/MC/AmEx. The same year all the gas stations changed the way they process prepaid cards.
Right now there are only a handful of people using this trick and the losses for the credit card companies are probably a few grand every year which is nothing for them. I took a lot of heat from other members last time. I don't think I want to take that risk again.
