Then maybe it should be mentioned in the OP or Wiki. As someone who's never had Spectrum before, I'm not familiar with the intricacies of these promos. Thanks for clarifying.
then don't post what you did if you have never done this! That means you don't have a clue!

Try from a desktop computer. Sometimes, it will deny anything on a mobile device for some reason.
I've tried different browsers on mobile/desktop and tried signing in/out. Is it still working for you? I still have one left I was hoping to get rid of.

you sure you picked the right phone? the name is a little reorganized, I think 5g comes first or something like that.

I was able to pick the 64gb device -

other
motorola
moto g 5g 2025, 64 gb
I guess not possible to confirm trade in value with IMEI.

Did you go ahead and get one? Or waiting for the in-store opportunity. The difference is the tax, I guess.
I am thinking about it. They might remove the $300 or $400 instant savings when the local store has this phone in stock and it will be after 8/9/2026.

I've used any generated IMEI in the past (2-3 trades w/Spectrum so far, one of which was Fold 5) and never had an issue. I did the same thing here.

I got in on the s26u deal last time but once I got it unlocked I just put in a drawer, either to resell later or just as a backup,
I currently use a Galaxy flip 6 which I absolutely love.
Considering getting a fold once this is available in store.
The biggest concern of mine and the only real thing I hate about the flip, which I believe would be similar with the fold, is the case selection sucks because of the design of the phone.
The case options absolutely suck balls, unless you guys have some sort of recommendation for a good case i might hold off on this deal.
I typically like Burly cases and I just don't see any real good options for these types of phones.

I'm also getting the "Sorry, your device is not eligible for trade-in" message when choosing Straight Talk moto g 2025 as the trade in phone and typing in IMEI of my S24 on hand, or the IMEI of moto g 2025 I traded in during the earlier S26 promo that's still on record at Assurant trade in website.

Well how about an actual unused IMEI from a real Moto G 5g 2025?

I've tried using an imei from a moto g 5g 2025 I bought a few months ago which is still sealed and it's not working. I've tried doing it on desktop/mobile with different browsers and being logged in/out but still get the same "device not eligible for trade in message". Looks like they are no longer accepting that phone as a trade in.

I just wanted to check the total price after discount before going through the trouble of going to Walmart to purchase a moto g. Prior to this deal I was able to type in any IMEI to check the trade in value.

Anyhow I chose S24 as the phone to trade in this time as a test and it went through with a trade in value of $155. I will just assume they will give me the trade in value of $5 for moto g like previous years (+$950 promo) if they actually accept the moto g with unused IMEI.

I have a brand new moto g 5g 2025 sealed in the box and it's not accepting it either.

Well that's unfortunate... I see on this thread there are others who were able to successfully submit moto g 5g 2025 as the trade in so I wonder why it's not working for us.

FYI as an experiment I chose "Other Motorola MOTO G 5G 64GB" with S24 IMEI as the trade in device instead of "Other Motorola MOTO G 5G 2025 64GB" and it is going through fine with a trade in value of $5.

I will not risk doing a preorder now with online trade in omitting the 2025 part though, since it will be a big headache if they reject the trade in once mailed to them. I will instead wait to do trade in in store once the galaxy Z 8 releases.
