I've had infimobile for 2 years now and have had no issues. I have 5 lines between family members and everyone loves it. Can't beat the price. Only complaint is that they charge for replacement e-sims.
No. You must pay an additional five dollars per month for hotspot on this plan.
I just left infimobile for US mobile. It was a nightmare getting my account number and port out pin from them! I tried chat twice and got disconnected, then I called and it said I was the next in queue, but then it went to voicemail. I emailed them, and they got back to me pretty quickly but asked me seven questions to verify my identity, most of the information they did not even have on me lol. After two days I finally got the information to port out. As long as you have no issues, the service isn't all bad. I was on the Verizon network with eSIM, and even though I have good Verizon coverage in my area as I had a second line on my phone with US mobile already, sometimes the infimobile data was not working or very slow and the US mobile data with same Verizon worked fine. That's why I finally took my second line to US mobile.
US mobile has a deal going on right now 199 unlimited starter or 299 unlimited premium and also gives you a $25 gift card within two days if you bring a new line.
I didn't have this specific plan/deal, but when I signed up for another with less data I had 60 days to activate. The process for me took minutes as I ported my number from Mint without any problem.
I've got two kids on the 5GB plan, have had no problems. I think you need the full unlimited plan for a hotspot, but I may be wrong, because I also thought that the 5 GB was a hard cap but the graphic here says that you still have reduced speed data. FWIW, this may also only be for new activations: "To start the 12-month plan, a new activation and upfront payment are required."
I have the 5 gig plan and the one time I ran over it was completely dead until it renewed a week later!

I spoke to the CS.. It's for new customers only always on Amazon.. For recharges, you have to go thru their website...
I upgraded my 10G 12 month plan to this one on their website, the new plan REPLACE my current one, and the leftover from my last plan was prorated to credit in my account.

10g plan is the lowest tier for you to have "unlimited" data after you exhaust the quota, however, the "unlimited" speed is abysmally slow, only good for some text only browsing.
My Infimobile Plan(15GB 12 mo) expires in August. Added a 12 mo 10 GB plan and my Infimobile dashboard reflects it starts immediately after my current Plan expires. Same number, same unlimited talk/text, same underlying Carrier, same bulletproof service. Couldn't be happier.

You went through their website or bought the Amazon plan?

Original thru Amazon. $112 for 12 months at 15 GB. Bought "recharge" 10GB year through Infimobile dashboard(controlling my account). It tracked my usage so I was able to determine how much data I was actually using monthly so downgraded to the 10GB plan. (Hint: You can't opt in for the add'l $5.00 mo hotspot unless you are on the 10GB or higher plan)
