Not criticism but who still uses Ridgid Cordless Power tools? I had a set of them way back when just before they went to lithium batteries. When my NiCad batteries went bad (about 2 years) they would NOT replace with the new lithium batteries and told me my lifetime warranty on the tools and batteries was no longer valid as they were no longer making NiCads. WTF? Anyhow Ridgid use to be used by many as they were cheaper in price but now they are about the same as the Big Name Brands. I see Ryobi still sells well as they should but how about Ridgid?

And i would assume ridgid is doing just fine, many people on slick deals love Ridgid and like to buy tools when on a good sale. to each their own.

i know its sub compact, but it only has 250 ft./lbs. of Breakaway Torque for 1/2 inch... when it comes to the 1/2 inch for $180 ide rather just get the one Ridgid that does 1,300 ft./lbs. of Breakaway Torque even though its not sub compact when its on sale, for those wondering im talking about the R86212K / R86212B .

Yeah I knew they were backward compatible between Lithium and NiCad same as Ryobi. Ridgid lost me as a customer when they didn't replace my NiCad batteries and now I am Yellow and Red and some fluorescent green in my yard tools!
