This sale is strongest for Brooks Ghost and Altra running shoes, especially if you want a roomy forefoot or a zero drop feel. Ghost Max in normal width fits a 4E foot for some, and the Ghost series in 4E is described as fitting well across multiple versions. The shoes also helped during recovery from a fractured ankle. The main limits are sparse sizing, with little beyond men's 13 and almost nothing above 11.5, and wide sizes are largely absent. Altra's anatomical toe box and zero drop feel may take adjustment, and a wide midfoot can still be a problem.
