Bought 3 during that time. Wife still using 1 as a daily driver. Was a great deal. 2 came in mint condition though box had been opened and phone plastic etc removed

I am considering one for $300 in excellent condition. Would you be able to give me some feedback on the device? Specifically on how the hinge and screen are holding up?

I would rank this over the Samsung Flip 6. I also had the previous years and gifted one to my mother in law as well. Her phone is still going strong, but my 10 year old inherited my old one and dropped/broke it while we were on a trip to japan. She dropped it from her chest height onto a marble floor while it was open... I really cannot blame the phone for that one.
If this was brand new I would say it's a solid deal, it being excellent condition I would say is a fair price. Definitely love the form factor, and I have not experienced a better designed flip
Edit: just saw you said excellent at $300 (not $350), yes I would say that is a deal. Not amazing, but still a deal
Bought one of these back in February. It cracked by the end of March. I called Motorola for warranty coverage and they said the phone was 7 days past its warranty period. 7 days. They said they can repair at a "discount" for $500. 🤡 I called best buy and they said their was nothing they could do. Buyer beware.
FWIW, I've owned this phone for 18 months. I did have to replace the screen protector on the big screen, but other than that it's been a great phone. Hinge still feels good. I do use a case that provides hinge protection when folded.

Is that because it was refurbished?
Or what is the typically warranty on these?
