This is slower than a 270k Plus and yet it still costs $180 more 😂 AMD Tax still in full effect. You can literally get a faster CPU than this Ryzen for $290 https://www.newegg.com/intel-core...6819118628

Interesting. How does the 270k outperform the 9950 when the 9950 has more cores (8+16 vs 16/32) and higher frequency (5.5 vs 5.7)? Does it outperform in all aspects of just certain things like single core or something?
I mainly use my CPU for video encoding. Currently have a 7900x so no real need for me to upgrade, but I do try to keep in the loop just for the sake of it.
