Pretty tired of these Qi1 batteries being pawned off on the public that can't even keep up with the discharge rate of using an iPhone 16. It says "20W" in the title, but this only applies to the wired USB-C charging, which MegaSafe purchasers aren't going to actually care about.

I bought this off a slick deal a couple months ago. Fair warning, this thing gets insanely hot when in use! So hot I felt my pocket getting hot so I reached in to pull it out and immediately dropped it back into my pocket because it was burning my hand. I had to use a towel to pull it out and remove the battery from my phone and it took several minutes for the battery to cool down. I thought maybe it was an artifact of my phone having a case on (although it is an Apple MagSafe case and I've never had a problem with other MagSafe batteries or chargers), so I tried again on a flight without a case and laying battery side up on the tray table. Within 5 min, the battery was blazing hot again and I had to remove it. Check out the Amazon reviews— this isn't an isolated incident. There are tons of reviews with the same issue. This will damage your phone battery and potentially burn your hand. I report to BASEUS and they took an incident report, but did not want the battery back, so I don't trust there's any hope they're researching or addressing this issue.

We have samsung phones with magnetic cases and love these. They do get warm. They keep your phone going when you need it though.
