I was already tempted yesterday. The new Alienware 39" 5k2k is endgame but I know my 3080 can't drive it. Was trying to hold out on a monitor upgrade until the 6000 series gpu's dropped and upgrade them together.

I still have one of the older IPS Alienware ultrawides. Not sure if I should use this for a couple years knowing I'll probably upgrade again.

I want it but it's 3x the price of this essentially ($1529).

Certain LG monitors have advertisement pop ups that are pushed via Windows Update through an automatically downloaded background program called the LG Monitor App Installer.

Impacted Models: At least eight specific high-end and mid-range LG UltraGear gaming displays (such as the 34GX900A-B) alongside older consumer models (like the 27GP83B and 27GN800) have been verified to trigger this background installer upon connecting to a Windows 11 PC.

Anyone know if this one triggers the pop up ad installer?

I'm sure it does, unless you take steps to prevent it.
