One thing to consider, trade ins with Samsung can be very challenging. Make sure you have picture and video evidence of the device's working condition before sending it in. Last time I traded a device in Samsung charged me the full price over a year later, claiming the device was not in good working condition. Luckily, I had evidence disproving the claim and only had to spend an hour on the phone with one of their CSRs.

If you need a $90 phone bill for 36 months that's $3200 for phone + service.

You generally are better off with an MNVO + doing a trade+finance at Samsung.

So is the 36 months new? Wasn't it 24 months during the pre-order?

If you didn't do the pre-order, might as well wait, they will bring it back to 24 months again eventually.

Mobile virtual network operator. They are smaller carriers that use one or more of the the larger carriers' (Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T) network. Carriers like Mint Mobile, US Mobile, Visible, etc. MVNO are generally cheaper. Depending on phone deals, they may be a better option in the long run.

It's the new 2.0 plans. Beyond 1.0 and next are still 24 mo.

Yes that's what I did. Traded is s24 ultra plus paypal100 for another $100 off. Good deal. I just got it today and put my cheap $10 boost mobile Sim card in. It's working beautifully. Idk how they did it but it's smaller than the s24 ultra. It's a great phone. I'm highly impressed. I'm hoping to keep this one for 5 years.

I believe they are giving the Fold8 cost after trade in, not the trade in value.

The best way to save money is to use the phone you already have, especially if it works well and go to a mvno. Tmobile plans do not include taxes and fees while carriers like us mobile have promotional rate of $16.7 everything included for a year.
