The Garmin 710i unit I received yesterday from this deal appears to be pre-owned. It did not have the stock maps loaded from the factory. Was freezing and randomly rebooting under intensive tasks. Garmin support is telling me that these are probably not brand new even though packaging appeared to be brand new.

Talked to another rep at Garmin and they ran the serial number it appears to be new based on no activation and warranty status.
